About Axis Above

A different perspective on the places we pass by.

Axis Above was created to capture the world from a perspective that most of us rarely get to see.

Through aerial and ground photography, I explore Utah’s mountains, reservoirs, forests, deserts, and hidden corners. Looking for those moments when light, landscape, and movement come together to create something worth remembering.

What started as a passion for exploring and creating cinematic imagery has grown into a collection of photographs that I’m excited to share beyond the screen.

The Prints

Every image available through Axis Above is selected from my personal collection of photographs. I look for images that stand on their own, not simply as documentation of a place, but as pieces of art that can bring a sense of that landscape into your home.

From dramatic mountain landscapes to quiet reflections on the water, each print represents a place, a moment, and a perspective that caught my attention while I was out exploring.

I believe photography should do more than show you somewhere. It should make you feel like you were there.

Why "Axis Above"?

The name comes from the simple idea behind everything I create: changing the axis from which we see the world.

From above, familiar landscapes become something entirely different. Roads become patterns. Rivers become lines. Mountains reveal shapes you can't see from the ground. Places we've visited before can suddenly feel completely new.

That's the perspective I want Axis Above to share.
